Keeping Busy

Starting a few weeks ago, but only kicking into high gear the past few days, I’ve been stitching a wedding dress. My boss/friend Sallie designed it and we’ve been having a lot of fun working together. The dress is very elegant and simple made of rippled silk. The bride is super talented. A published poet, art show reviewer, and assistant director at White Flag Projects. Today was the final fitting and she’ll pick up the finished dress tomorrow morning on her way out of town for the celebrations. Nothing like a time crunch. I definitely needed some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for the last push.marking the hemfront viewrippled silk on the bias
