Interstate highways, take me home

We’re currently cruising across Ohio on 70 East with a carload of darkroom equipment donated by Stan Strembicki. We had an educational morning, learning to take apart our new enlarger at the school house, then touring Stan’s studio out at Tyson research center. He’s farming books, planting old volumes in the surrounding woods, then photographing the decay. He pulled more goodies from his photographic supply there, loading us up with safe lights, chemical trays, a light table, paper boxes and more. We were honored to receive such a bounty, and look forward to putting it to use. Planning and building our darkroom will be our big December project.

After a long backup caused by two
colliding semis, we have three more hours to chase slick taillight reflections, but our spirits are bright.
