With another cold front looming and last year’s vibrant butterfly garden turned brown, today’s colorful gardening workshop at the MITCH House was timely and well-recieved.
Ohio County Master Gardener, MITCH volunteer and nature photographer Daniel Caron filled the Riverview Gallery this afternoon to discuss simple ways for participants to grow their own butterfly gardens. Caron discussed what plants to consider, local garden stores to visit and how to photograph the beautiful, seasonal and tiny visitors that make Ohio Valley gardens home.
In addition to sharing his gardening knowledge, Caron also shared some of his personal backyard photography. To view photographs by the talented Caron, purchase his work or to see where his images are displayed locally, please visit him at The Nature Nomad or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
